babysitting....

I am supposed to go home this afternoon as usual, but my employers asked me to babysit since they´re going to attend the fiesta celebration of the neighboring place where my female employer´s sister lives. We are supposed to go to the fiesta in the afternoon with the kids since there are activities for kids. But then the weather went bad. It rained and the baby boy was sick. He had a fever:(. So the eldest (girl) went to the fiesta with the parents and I stayed at here with the boy. I took the temperature at around 7:30pm and the boy got 39.3 degrees Celsius,so I panicked since the boy kept on crying since 7pm and don´t want to eat. I already gave the medicine and he vomited it after 5 minutes. I immediately sent an sms to the mother asking her to call me back. She went home immediately and thanks God coz the fever lowered after taking the medicine. I was scared that the boy will have a convulsion while I am alone with him. And we are here in a remote place, far from the doctor. My employer said that if the boy will get worst tomorrow, then they´re going back to Barcelona tomorrow or Monday, instead of staying until Wednesday.

Anyways, during my 2 weeks vacation, I will make some dieting coz I think I gained weight like staying here coz I just keep on eating. I don´t know, but I am always hungry here. Arggg!!So I have to diet so I´ll lose weight again as if I took some weight loss supplements.:)

Vacation galore!!!

Yohoo, I am already very excited for my 2 weeks vacation that will start on Monday:). Thanks God for giving me nice employers coz my other friends don´t have vacation. I am here in the winter house with my employers and tomorrow, I´ll be going home and start working again in their house in Mira-sol on September. Can´t wait to live the easy-go-lucky way for 2 weeks,hehehe.

Winter house...

My employers just bought the winter house for almost 3 years now, but it´s still very new, as if they were just here for just a year. And it´s because they really take good care of the house and the furniture, especially my male employer, he is very good in taking care of things. I´ll take some photos tomorrow and share them to you next time.

One of the things I like here in the house is its lighting fixtures coz the placing and the design of the lights are very nice. The design of the kitchen and the bathrooms are very nice too. And the design of the 2 bedrooms are unique. Each rooms has an extra bed on the attic. and there´s a dettacheable stair attach on the wall and it will only be removed when someone wants to climb to the attic. Cool!

bored waiting...

My employers went to the mountains with the children and said that they´re coming back after lunch, which means around 3 or 4pm. But they didn´t arrive and I was bored waiting for them. I opened the door a lot of times in the hope of seeing the car outside, but it wasn´t there. I already scanned the magazines in the living room and listen to music to pass the time. My siesta is until 4pm, so I went back to my room and lie down while waiting for them. And finally they arrived at 6:30pm. The children watched some cartoons and then we went to the park nearby at 7pm and stayed there for an hour.

slept well....

Yohooo, I am so happy coz I had a good night sleep last night, as in I slept so well. I went to bed at 12 midnight and woke up at 8am, though my alarm was set for 7:40am, but I ignored it and slept 20 minutes more,hehehe. We are already here in Cerdanya, in the winter house of my employers and the place is very nice coz it´s very tranquil and it´s not hot at all. The wind is very nice and it makes us sleep longer. I woke up 2x in the middle of the night though coz the kids were crying and asking for water. Their room is next to mine, so I can hear them easily. Hope they won´t be crying this time.:)

Anyways, the day was spent in cleaning the entire house. My employers and the children went to the mountains for the whole day. So, I was able to clean the house without any distractions. While cleaning the kitchen, I saw 2 small tablets near the stove. I don´t know if they were diet pills or birth control pills of my female employer. But since the pills are already exposed so I decided to throw them. I just home she wouldn´t ask me about it,:)

1st CFC-FFL Sports Fest!

One of the reasons why I've been so tired lately was the 1st CFC-FFL Couples for Christ - Foundation for Family and Life) Sports Fest that we had here in BCN last July 26. There were already 2 teams arranged to compete, red team and yellow team. Yours truly was designated as the team captain of Yellow team:). We had so much fun and everyone was exhausted after the sports fest, yet we were still all smiles:)

A lot of games were played such as track and field, cheering competition, balloon blowing, egg relay, egg catching, sack race, volleyball, make-up contest, tug of war, caterpillar, etc. We even had a parade around the beach (our venue) before the official start of the fest and we were all laughing coz it feels like a real sports fest, just like the ones we hd on our high school days,hehehe.

Red Team was declared as the overall champion, and obviously, yellow team was a loser,hehehe. But it was ok coz we still had fun and we still had some win in the games. We still received medals. Yep, there were medals too,:)

My cousin's 2nd visit to BCN...

My dearest cousin, Florean, had visited me here in BCN for the 2nd time last July 28 until August 3. I was so happy to see her again coz it has been long that I haven't seen her (the last time was when she visited me here for the 1st time, last Christmas 2008). I was so glad coz my employer give me a special day to enjoy Florean's visit, so she gave me a day-off on Friday evening, instead of the usual Saturday afternoon. Florean, Ate Rumafe and me spent the entire saturday shopping...as in it was a huge shopping coz it's a sales season here in BCN and at the end of the day, our wallets were drained of any money,hehehe. But it was ok coz we had so much fun and we went shopping as if we were tourists (so we dressed up a bit,hehehe). Looking forward for Florean's next visit:).

Since I was working in the summerhouse, so Florean stayed in my boarding house alone, since Ate Rumafe is working everyday and only goes home during the evening. Florean was having a good time and she was sleeping most of the time,hehehe. I already went to work on Monday morning and her train sched for Denmark was on Monday afternoon. So, I was not able to go with her to the station. She said that she's going to buy video card before going home. But until now, I haven't talk to her yet, so I don't know if she was able to buy one. I'm sure she's still busy coz she started working again on the 8th. Just hoping to hear fom her very soon.

tiredness and laziness combined...

I haven't blog for more than 2 weeks now coz I'm inflicted with tiredness and laziness completely:(. Been visiting my blogs constantly, but just don't have the energy to write. Been so tired for the past weeks coz my work ends late already, around 10pm and I usually dozed off after eating dinner before completing any of my night routine (face washing, reading, etc). I am hoping that I can get back into blogging on my 2-week vacation starting on the 17th of August. Yohoo, I m already excited to have a time for myself just sleeping and wandering around.:)
