sleep-deprived weekend.,,,

As usual, I had a sleep-deprived weekend, but it´s ok coz it´s all worth it. I enjoyed it a lot. I am even euphoric and I was not able to keep the happiness in myself that I kept on smiling and screaming and my Ates noticed it and they were also happy for me and even screaming with me,hehehe.

So, it means that I have to make-up for my sleepless weekend by sleeping early during the weekdays. I should be sleeping so soon and 12:30am will be the cut-off time for today. :)

pimple is gone...

Yohooo, I am so glad coz the pimple that sprouted on Wednesday was gone before I had my day off yesterday afternoon.:) Yep, I only had a half-day off, so it means that I worked for 6.5 days out of 7:( My employers asked me to work for an extra day since they went out for dinner with friends in celebration of my female employer´s birthday. But the extra day was compensated by an extra pay, so it´s ok:) They told me that it´s up to me if I am going to go home or just stay here to relax after the duty, but I really said that I am going home coz I will attend the 6pm Mass on Sunday and of course, I need to go home to see the outside world even for just a while:)

A huge pimple sprout out in my forehead lastnight:( It was indeed a sign that my menstruation is coming and true enough, I had it this morning:) Good thing and only one pimple sprouted, it could have been irritating if I got several. Hope it will be gone before my day-off.:)

I feel that the time is moving so slow today. I was taking the youngest child to the park for an hour and it seems that we stayed so long before it became on hour. We were also playing in the garage in the afternoon for an hour, and it seems so long too. And now, I am waiting for 12 mn to strike, so I can go to bed but it´s still 11:12 pm here and I think that time is moving so slow coz it seems that Ive been online for so long now after my work. Hmmm, this is strange!

3 cups of tea...

I´ve consumed 3 cups of tea for today and I feel good about it. I´m glad coz I´m able to control my appetite for chocolate. When I feel the urge, I keep on drinking water. I don´t care if I keep on going back to the toilet. What´s important is to totally say no to chocolates.:) I know I have to be more strict when it comes to sweets.

pancit for lunch...

My employers already asked me last week if I can prepare filipino food sometimes and they asked me what food we filipinos usually prepare and I told them pancit (noodles), spring rolls, chicken curry, etc. And this morning the female took out some noodles and beef and told me to prepare it just the way I prepare pancit. And so, I made it for lunch and thanks God coz female liked it. She said it tasted good,:) It was also the dinner of my male employer and the kids and they all liked it too. Yohooo, I am so glad and it means that I´m gonna make pancit more often,hehehe.

That´s the amount of sleep I had last night and I felt so fresh and good in the morning. Thanks God! I slept at around 12:30 and woke up at around 8. Atleast, I already made up some of my sleepless nights on the past week. Tonight, I´ll do the same : go to bed early:). I really need to sleep well coz I still have a cold and sleeping very late will only worsen it.

sleep more..

That´s my aim for this week : to sleep more to cover-up my sleepless previous week:( Yes, I had a very little sleep each day last week and that´s coz of the novel "Consent to Kill" by Vince Flynn. It was the the 2nd novel I read from him and the thickest of the 3 that I borrowed. The story is really so nice and thrilling that I just can´t put it down even if my eyes were already drooping. So most of the nights, I end up sleeping at 2am in the morning and then when the weekend came, I was still sleepless. So, I really promised to get a longer sleep as much as possible and 12 midnight is the cut-off. When the clock strikes 12 mn, then it´s dozzing off time:)

I also controlled myself not to start reading the 3rd novel of Vince Flynn that I have here coz the moment I start reading it, it will surely mean another sleepless week for me. So, i just let the novel remain in the closet and concealed under my clothes:).

eating galore!!!

My weekend was indeed an eating galore and I feel like I am still full until now:) My roommate, Ate R., had a birthday on the 14th and the b-day celebration was on Saturday. Our landlord and landlady had a little surprise for her. They prepared food (goto, pancit and cake) and invited our co-singles without her knowledge. I was their runner for the surprise,hehehe. I was in-charge in picking up the visitors at the bus stop.

It was so funny coz I was already changed my clothes into something nicer and I also asked Ate to change already and she´s not cooperating and said that it´s only the 5 of us, so why should she chage clothes. So we joked that maybe some visitors will come since Ate and Kuya are inviting some of their family.

And when the visitors started coming, Ate was really surprise. All in all, it was a good bday celebration and we had a lot of fun. And the end result, I was not able to go to the camera store to check if the Nikon D60 sale last week is still on. I hope I can check it already next week before it´s too late.

rabbit meat...

My stomach is not so good right now, I feel like I want to vomit and it´s coz of the rabbit meat I ate for lunch:( Yes, rabbit meat indeed! My female employer prepared the food and I told her that it was my first time to try it and she said that if I will not like it, I just make another food for myself. So I tried a piece. Though my taste buds didn´t like it much, but decided to ate the entire piece and give it a try. And the end result, the feeling of vomiting is still present until now..Arggggggggg. No more rabbit meat next time!!!

no to chocolate....

That´s a campaign for myself since the day I have a sore throat:( A campaign that´s very difficult to win since I am really into chocolates and anything that´s sweet. Today is a small victory for me coz I finally said no to chocolate even if it´s very tempting. But I ate one chocolate-flavored yogurt though. I hope it didn´t count:( But still I am happy coz this is the very first day since I have my sore throat that I haven´t eaten chocolate cookies. If the sore throat still continues, then I´ll go for a bigger campaign : no to sweets!

headache´s gone...

Yeheyyy, I am glad coz there no more headache tonight,:) I think the headache was really caused by the very bright lights here in my room. So, I used the lampshade and light is just enough, so no more bright light from now on,hehehe.

Anyways, I am also babysitting tonight coz the couple went to the cinema and said that they´ll be back at 12 midnight. The children are already asleep though and it means that I can doze off already. But I´ll stay a little longer and try to do some things before finally going to wonderland,hehehe.

Headache once again!!

Arggg, I´m having a headache once again and it has been consecutive since I had my lappy and net connection here. Is it because of the radiation emitted by the screen? I really don´t know and the light here in my room is also very bright. Tomorrow, I will use the lampshade for a dimmer effect and observe if it´s better for my eyes or not. But for now, I have to go to sleep and hope that there´s no more headache in the morning.

Anways, I am so happy here in my new job coz I have my own room and it´s really very nice, as nice as the children´s room and I have my own closet that serves as my self storage, I mean personal storage,hehehe. Not like in my previous job that I don´t have a room (that´s why I was stay-out) and I just put my things in the tiny laundry room:(

I missed baking!

Yep, I already missed baking coz I haven´t bake since I left my first hostfamily about 2 months ago. In my temporary job for 1 month, I was not baking too. My cooking was not even good and the female employer has to supervise the food preparation,ehehhe. And here in my new job, I haven´t bake too. The female employer also decides what to prepare everyday and take it out from the freezer and all I have to do is prepare the food as instructed. But she already asked me if I can make Filipino food one day. I will suggest to her one day that I´m going to bake oatmeal cookies and I´ll ask her to buy the ingredients coz I really missed eating oatmeal cookies:) And if they´ll like it, then I´ll bake the other stuffs that I learned from my previous job.

On another topic, how I wish I can attend the 2nd European Singles Congress in Turin, Italy but I think it´s not gonna happen since my papers are not yet fix until now. We already received a memo and the first 200 who will register will be provided with a free accommodation in one of the homes if CFC-FFL members in Turin. It´s not a free stay at hotel though, but it´s really a very good offer. If only I have my papers fixed by now, I´ll surely register now and avail of free accmmodation.

Finally, I got the courage to go down and fix a cup of tea for me before it´s too late:) I was reading a novel by Vince Flynn and I don´t want to put it down since the story is already very thrilling, but I fought the urge and closed the novel and went downstairs. And I´m so glad I conquered the temptation,heheh. But too bad and I´m having a headache and it just started few minutes ago:(

high blood pressure...

I haven´t send a lot of text messages to my family back home in the past month due to the lack of internet connection. But now that I already have one, I´m back to sending a lot of messages,hehehe. I texted my aunt (whom I call mama), older sister of my father) and I asked if they are well there. Mama replied that they´re well, but she was hospitalized for 3 years due to her high blood:( My paternal grandma is also having a high blood pressure, so they´re both maintaining daily medicines and Mama said that their blood pressure still raises even if they refrain from eating meat. I´m always praying for their good health and I´m going to send them some money at the end of the month to help in the medicine maintenance.

Lola and Mama´s condition is really a reminder for me to be more careful with my health since high blood pressure runs in my paternal family. I have to really be cautious and be careful with my food intake.

My headache is also due to my cold:( I have it since the weekend coz of lack of sleep. I´ve been sleepless while in my boarding house coz as always, I was busy talking to my roommate(s) as if we haven´t seen one another for a long time,heheheh. So now, I am suffering with a cold and I have to bring a paper with me al the time coz I always blow my nose.grrrrrrrr. I just hope I can buy vitamins so I´ll be well fast. I found some discount supplements in the net, but I don´t think buying online is a wise idea since the shipping fee is expensive, maybe more expensive than the product.:( So, I have to deal with it with water therapy and some other natural way of healing.

Argggg, too bad and I missed my tea session tonight coz I´ve been busy here in the net coz I´m doing some editing and it was already 11pm when I went down to get some water and I don´t want to use the microwave in heating the water anymore coz it´s going to make a sound and the couple is watching tv in the sala. I should make my tea earlier tomorrow.

back to tea-drinking.....

I´m back to drinking tea everyday (hopefully) starting today. I bought a pack of green tea and I also brought my huge cup to make sure that I have everything I need and I just hope that drinking tea once again in a daily basis will help me in shedding off some weight. I know this is already an old issue, but until now, I haven´t got a satisfying result, so I´ll keep on trying until I succeed.:)

sore throat...

I´m glad and my sore throat is already gone. Actually, there´s still a little trace, but not so sore as the past few days. I had it coz of eating too much sweets. I just don´t know, but it´s so hard for me to resist sweets. I just can´t say no,grrrrrrrrrr. And here at work, I keep on eating the chocolate chip for the children too,hehehe. My employer said that I can eat anything I want, but of course, it´s not good for my health:( so I have to minimize it.

headache....

I´m having a headache right now and thanks God coz it´s bearable. It´s due to what happened earlier with my "alagas". The mother went to the university,so I was left with the 2 children. We already went to the tv room while I´ll prepare their bath. But since the tv is not functioning, so I went downstairs to fix the main control, but when I came back the gate was already open and the small child was no longer in the tv room. Ohh my, I was already in panic and I was so mad at the eldest coz she opened the gate. I was calling the child´s name and went on every floor searching for him. I can hear his voice but can´t figure out where is he. And finally, we saw him crawling down the stairs from the 4th floor (his parent´s room). I was truly relieved that all was fine, thanks God.

iNet connection atlast!

I am so happy coz I finally have a wireless internet connection here at my work. I subscribed for a wireless internet connection and it comes with a promo of availing HP mini 2133 for only 100 euros instead of the usual 399 euros without net connection. It´s very nice coz it´s so small and it´s not bulky at all. It´s really good for travelling instead of my heavy acer lappy. But it doesn´t mean that I am rejecting my acer now. I will still use it during the weekends and I lend ot to my roommate during the weekdays. I still prefer my acer´s keyboard.:) So, it means that I´ll be blogging constantly now. I´m finally back to business, thanks God.:)
