tired and sleepy...

I finished early at work today, around 8:30pm and then I finally came here at the boarding house at around 10pm and I saw Ate Becky and Ate rumafe on the train, so we were having a chitchat,:) I ate dinner with Ate Becky once again upon arriving here and I felt good. Despite being tired and sleepy, but I still have to make some things on the net, so here I am and I still have a lot of things to do for the following days. One thing is to transfer all pictures with Ate Becky into a CD coz she wants to send it to her bf in Denmark and I need to do it too, so I can delete her files after transferring it to the CD to have more space for future photos. I have to keep on deleting unnecessary files on my lappy to avoid memory upgrade if ever it gets full coz I don't wanna spend a dime as much as possible, especially on unnecessary things. I promised myself to have a cost-cutting and to really save as much as possible,:)

recipe site

I just discovered myrecipes.com a while ago and it's so timely coz my female employer told me just this afternoon that I have to make a menu list for the week every Monday so she'll know what things are needed in cooking and to see if the menu will coordinate with the menu at school for the kids. And I have to make 2 food for dinner, one for the adults and one for the kids, just in case the children won't like the food that I'll be preparing, so there should be something that will be made especially for them. For sure, I'll learn a lot of recipes and I'll improve my cooking too since my female employer loves cooking and she just give me a recipe to follow most of the time and then I'll do it alone. So exciting,:)

short and colored...

I forgot to tell you friends that I already had my new look yesterday and it's totally a complete hair make-over since I cut it real short and I also colored it yellow,hehehe. Just kidding about the hair color, it's not yellow but I really dyed my hair, hope that my employers won't get mad at me coz they've already told me that they're going to call the lawyer who will help in arranging my papers here tomorrow. And scared that they'll cancel it after seeing my hair,hehehe. Hopefully, I'll have a visa stamped on my passport for working here in Spain and I hope it will be so soon. Help me in praying my friends,:)

unhealthy....

It's a very fun and blessed Sunday for me, but it's also a little bit unhealthy since I ate at a fast food chain for 2 times today,arggggggggg. First, I ate lunch with Ate Becky at McDonalds and it was with burger, fries and cola. And then KFC for dinner with my SFC Barcelona friends and it was with chicken joy,fries and cola again. Argggggggggg, so unhealthy indeed, but it's ok since we had fun and bonding too. Grabe, na konsensya na tuloy ako sa pinagkakain ko today,huhuhuh. Ang bilbil ko ay malaking malaki na,promise,heheheh.

he's visiting me...

My dearest brother is planning to visit me here in Barcelona this coming December and I told my employers about it and they said that my brother can actually come from December 28-January 6 while they're on their vacation in Argentina, so we can tour around Barcelona for a week. Yohoo, I am so excited for his visit and if his wife can get her visa already and can go to Denmark before December, then they'll be both coming here in Barcelona to visit me. Yohoo, so exciting.

we have it now...

Yeheyyyyy, I am so happy right now coz we already have an electric socket in our room. I really asked Ate Becky to tell our landlady that we need an extension wire so we can charge our gadgets inside our room. We told her this afternoon and she said that there's actually a socket in our room behind the cabinet. So we looked for it and there it was behind the closet and I am really happy coz I can now use my lappy freely. Our landlady has also seen my lappy already and she even asked me if I have an internet connection. So atleast now, I can breath freely without the feeling of being scared if I'll be caught. Thanks God!! It means that I can already blog everyday. Yeheyyy,:)

chest pain....

It´s been for days now that I am experiencing chest pain on the left side,huhuhu. I also experienced this in Denmark and Norway, but not so often. And I usually have it when I am very tired and doing a lot of work and maybe that´s why I am experiencing it now coz I´ve been so stressed and been doing a lot of work in my employer´s place trying to clean the house thoroughly and other stuffs. I just hope the chest pain will go away after some time. I am not comfy having it everyday,:(

Extra careful....

Everyone has to be extra careful here in Spain and that´s also the reminder I got from my pinay friends here. I have to be extra careful with my things especially in travelling coz there are also a lot of snatchers here, just like Pinas,:( And I have to be extra careful too in walking in the street especially during the night coz there are a lot of people in the streets and some of them look like drug addicts. I am not sure though if there are a lot of drug rehabs here in Spain, but I think drug addiction is also rampant here, just like any other country in the world.:(

Day-off!!

Yohooo, it´s my day- off today and I am so happy about it,:) The children don´t have school today and the father is just staying home, so I don´t have to come. So, I woke up so late today, 10am,hehehe and just enjoyed the calm day and enjoyed being alone since my roommate is working today.

I am here in the net and I´ll try to find the filipino saloon that Ate Rita gave me coz I want to cut my hair short. I already cut my hair a little shorter before coming here, but I want to cut it real short and I just hope that I am right with my decision,hehehe. I´ll keep you posted:)

looking for my FFL family....

I am still looking for my CFC FFL family here in Spain. I already met one SFC whom I met in the conference in Belgium, but she´s a CFC IC now, but she told me though that there are also FFL here in Barcelona. I will do my best to get in contact with them so I can be integrated to my FFL family here. I miss my FFL family in Oslo and I wanted to meet my FFL family here as soon as possible to lessen the "homesickness",huhuhuh. I´ll keep you posted once I get hold of them.

My time here in the net cafe is almost finished, so I´m done in any minutes and Ate Becky, my roommate is already waiting for me. So I have to get moving and go home so soon...

A busy week....

This week will surely be a busy week for me at work since I have to clean the house thoroughly. Though the house is not that dirty, but I have to clean it thoroughly the way I want it to be and so I´ll be at ease after making a thorough cleaning. I already made a menu for the entire week with my female employer yesterday and we went shopping too. I have to make sure that the kids have healthy dinner everyday and that they´re taken cared of after school since the parents are always coming home late. I am using my black watch all the time now (the one I bought in Sweden) coz it´s so important to get track of the time, but sometimes I get irritated coz the straps get wet. How I wish I have a talking watch that I can just put in my pocket and still get track of the time without constantly looking at it, just like the talking watches at activeandable.com.

I am so excited to start working tomorrow with my normal schedule since last week has been sort of observatory and I didn´t have a good sleep at their place since I am scared to oversleep or something and had been so hesitant all the time.

The probation week is finished!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I am so glad coz the probation week at my employer´s place is finished already and I am so glad coz they like me and I like them too.:) The feeling is mutual and I am so glad about it because that´s what I´ve been praying for since then, to have nice employers. I don´t care if I have to work for longer hours as long as they are nice to me. And indeed they are, and the kids are also very adorable. I came home to my boarding house yesterday afternoon, and I´ll be live-out starting tomorrow and my female employer has changed my working time to 9am to 9pm since she said 8am is so early. Thanks God and I can have longer hours to sleep,hehehe.

I went to St. Agustine parish today and attended the 10am Tagalog Mass with my new Filipina friends. I will be 1 week in Spain tomorrow and so far, so good. Thanks God and He´s been guiding me all the time. May God be praised at all times,:) Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

familiarizing....

Last night, Ate J. fetched me at Plaza Catalunya and started orienting me about the Metro and some other things here in Barcelona. And this morning I go with her to her work place and she oriented me on how to come to my work place too. I later met my male employer and he toured me in their place. And I went back alone to Barcelona to see if I really understood Ate J. orientation and thanks God coz I was able to come here in Barcelona successfully, so it means I passed the orientation,hehehe.

And at 7pm, I have to go back to my employer´s place to meet the female employer and the 3 children. And since it´s 30 minutes travel, so I have to leave here at 6pm to come there on time. I have to be on time to make an impression.

I just spent the rest of the day walking around here in my new place. I was not able to get in to my boarding house because i don´t have a key yet. My employers want me to be stay-in for a week so I can observe the daily routine and I will be live-out afterwards. I am suppose to bring some things tonight, but coz of the situation, I will just come back tonight and get my things and be back tomorrow morning. I am so excited to finally start working and know my new hostfamily more.

excited to lose weight....

With my new work schedule (from 8am to 8pm), I am so excited to see of I am going to lose some weight with it. I just hope I will,:) Indeed, my new work here is so long coz it´s 8am to 8pm during weekdays and 8am to 2pm during Saturdays. But I am not complaining because it´s part of sacrifices and coz I know that it will yield good results later, if not sooner,:) The sched is ok with me because I still have Sundays off, which means that I can still go to Mass every Sunday which is very important for me. I don´t want to Lord´s day to pass without me going to the Church. Thanks God for arranging my schedule so I can still continue attending Mass on Sundays. He is trully good all the time.

A new journey!!

Good day everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I am doing well here in a new place and I am so excited as I begin a new journey in my life here in Spain. Si, I am already here in Barcelona, Spain and I just arrived here yesterday, and so far, so good. I feel like I am at home in the Philippines because of the weather and the environment. I am not homesick at all,heheheh.

but indeed, I am so excited to see what life may bring to me here in Spain and how would I deal with the challenges that comes with it. I will always keep you posted and I will try my best to blog more often despite my very hectic schedule.:)

stressed yet relieved!

I've been so stressed lately since I have to do a lot of things in a week's duration : clean the house of my host family thoroughly, clean the apartment thoroughly, packed my balikbayan box, packed my other things for the travel and I kept on going to the city everyday to bring some stuffs to my friend's place.

But now, I am so relieved coz my balikbayan box was already picked up this afternoon and I am done cleaning the apartment too (just about an hour ago). I am now waiting for my male employer coz he's going to drive me with my things to my friend's place. Thanks God and he offered to drive me coz I can't bring all my things alone and I'm already ashamed to ask help from my cousins coz they already helped me, but there are still a lot of things left here and besides, they are busy with their jobs too.

I just hope I can have a long hours of sleep so soon.

Sleepless....

I am ended sleepless since Monday,:( I go to bed late to do all the packing of my things. Yes, I am already packing since Monday because I will be leaving so soon. One of the things that happened last week was my fight with my female employer. A very disappointing argument that makes me decide to leave earlier than planned and indeed, I am leaving this coming Friday.

Been going out to the City everyday to bring my things to my cousin's place and I am really very tired since I have to walk long before reaching the bus stop. I am tired and sleepy, but I have to keep working to complete the packing and I still have to clean my apartment thoroughly (windows, drawers, freezer, toilet, bar sinks, etc.) as instructed by my host family . But despite being tired, I still want to blog and make up for my longggg absence.

isolated....

Hi everyone! It's so nice to be blogging here once again after my isolation from the blogging world for almost 3 weeks,:( Our internet connection has been down since August 19 and we only got it back last Thursday, but I was not able blog right away because a lot of not so good things happened last week. Things that were unexpected and I am so busy lately doing things in a hurry because I have to do all the task before or until Friday.
