back to work!

I'll be back to work in my employer's place tomorrow and I'm excited about it. I miss my job and I want to work again coz I felt bored doing nothing during the vacation. But I'm not going to work early tomorrow coz the kids are still in the summerhouse with the grandparents coz there's still no classes yet, so I don't have to prepare lunchboxes! This week will be a relaxed one for me and my employer already told me about it, less work for me this week!

But I have to do a lot of cleaning since I only cleaned the house once, before they came home from Spain. I just hope that the house is not so dirty since they only stayed for few days here and stayed for long in the summerhouse. Let's see what the house looks like tomorrow. I'll keep you posted,:)

a destroyed diet!

My diet is obviously destroyed during the summer vacation and what's worst is that : I gained weight!huhuhu. I've been eating a lot this vacation, especially during our Poland trip coz the food there were really delicious and very affordable and I've been pigging out the whole time, huhuhu. The last time I weighed myself, I gained 2 kilos, but I haven't weighed myself since then coz I'm scared of the result. But tomorrow, I'll face reality and I'll weigh myself in the weighing scale of my female employer and I'll keep you posted about it.

For sure, I gained more than 3 kilos during the vacation and it means that I have to do a lot of exercise and dieting. I just hope I can lose the extra weight easily. Here's a proof of the bulging tummy:

so hot in here!

I'm just done eating oatmeal coz I'm so hungry. My stomach has been aching while washing my dirty clothes, but I just ignored it. And now that I'm done eating, I felt the heat here in my apartment. I just closed the door a while ago and I'm reopening it for fresh air to circulate. Good thing and I got a fan (pamaypay) as a present from a friend who came for vacation to Pinas, so I'm using it now. It's really so hot in here,grrrr!

Anyways, I'm so glad coz the project of my brother to surround the house with a concrete fence will materialize this coming August. And I really pray for it and I'm glad coz the construction store where we are going to buy the materials offers free delivery, so we don't have to worry about hiring a truck rental service to deliver the materials to our place.

Vacation is finally over!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well and hope that you had a nice vacation! Mine was really great and I'm glad that it's finally over,:) coz I miss my work and I miss blogging too. Though vacation is nice, but it gets boring when it's too long and it's expensive too. My savings is drained, so I really want to get back to work,hehehe.

But anyways, I enjoyed Poland so much and I enjoyed the visit of my brother here in Oslo too. We had a great time together and my friends welcomed him too with open arms.:)

Straight from Poland.....

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well! We arrived in Szczecin, Poland yesterday around 7pm and I am now blogging straight from Hotel Rycerski (pic below grabbed from http://www.hotelrycerski.pl).
We got difficulty looking for the hotel coz most of the people we asked don't speak English, but it was all worth it coz the hotel is nice and clean. We are occupying the Suite room, but Ate Bren is not satisfied coz there's no ref inside the room and the lobby is dark coz it only has few lights. She's very meticulous about hotels and their rooms coz she's working in a 5-star hotel in Norway.

Anyways, we went to bed early last night, around 12 midnight coz we were all tired from the long hours of driving (we've been driving for almost 24 hours all in all). I'm suppose to blog last night, but Anny (Ate's daughter) wants me to sleep already. And she also requested tht I'll sleep beside her, so I obliged coz she's our little boss,hehehe.

I'll blog more about our trip when I can,:) The rest are still asleep as of now. And tonight, we will be driving to another town near the coast and we will be staying there for 2 days. Ate's hubby said that 1 day in the City is enough.

still awake....

I'm still awake here at Ate Bren's place. I just finished watching the film "Outbreak" in a local channel about 30 minutes ago. It was really a nice movie and I love it so much. It pained my heart and I was depply touched by the bravery of Col. Sam Daniels and Major Salt (Cuba Goodings Jr.). I just love Cuba Gooding Jr. since then,:)

Sotanghon break...

Hi friends,good day to all of you! I am blogging here in Ate Bren's place and I've been here since Thursday night. I only got the chance to blgo today coz I've been busy with our chika2x session,hehehe.

Ate bren, her hubby and their daughter drove to Kristiansand yesterday morning and will be back tonight. We will be driving for Poland tomorrow evening. It's only me and my friend tonet here in the house. She went to the city to buy some stuff and I was left here. I called my Mama while in surfing in the net. And when tonet came, she bought an instant sotanghon sopu from the asian store and she shared it to me. It was really delicious.

Now, she's busy cleaning and I am busy blogging,hehehe. I'll think of something that we can do together. Maybe we'll watch a movie later. I'll just finish my assignments and I'm done here,:)

They've been asking....

As you all know, I've been struggling to lose weight since then and finally I got a nice result lately,:) When I was still in Denmark, I weighed 56 kg. and after dieting and exercising, I am now 52 kg. Though it's only 4 kg. difference, but I felt so good about my body now and my friends have observed the difference too.

Some have been asking me of I'm taking diet pills just like Phentermine or any other diet pills that I knew coz they're willing to try it too,hehehe. Nahhhh, I'm not taking any diet pills. Though I planned of trying before, but I didn't pursue it coz I still believe that I can lose weight the natural way. And indeed, I'm right. I did it the natural way. I just hope that I can maintain my weight now or lose 2 more kg,:) That's my next goal, to be 50 kg., but I haven't started the regimen yet, maybe after the summer vacation. I'll keep you posted!

Salmonella infection...

I just read a while ago at Yahoo News about the Salmonella infection. According to the news, more than 1,000 people became ill from salmonella on Wednesday (yesterday, July 9) and it has been initially linked to raw tomatoes. The incident has become the worst foodborne outbreak in at least a decade.

According to the news, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also urged people at highest risk of severe illness from salmonella to also avoid eating raw jalapeno and serrano peppers. The most vulnerable are the elderly, people with weak immune systems and infants.

They're home now!

My host family is home now from their Spain vacation coz I already heard noises upstairs. I just don't know if they arrived late last night or early today coz when I woke up at 10am, they were already upstairs.

Anyways, I'm glad coz my eyes are not watering anymore. Yohoo, signs of improvements,:) I haven't completed my packing for Poland coz I felt so lazy yesterday. I'll try to do it today coz I'll be leaving the apartment tomorrow already. I am already very excited for the trip and I just hope that Ate Bren's hubby is already familiar with the route to Poland. If not then we have a tendency to get lost. I'm not sure though if they already have a GPS in their car. But I just have to trust him coz he's a well-traveled man.:)

another options....

As you all know, I've been looking for another job here in Norway so I can stay longer here. I want to stay longer here as much as possible coz I'm already attached to my friends here and my CFC-FFL community. But I'm also considering another options because if Norways isn't my mission country, but I can't really stay here even if I'll try my best.:)

The other options is to apply for an office job is Dubai or a teaching job in Thailand. I found a site that publishes jobs in different countries and I found a lot of jobs in Dubai, China and other countries. I'm eyeing for Dubai and try looking for an office job that will fit me. But most of the postings right now are IT jobs. I'll just keep on visiting the site on a daily basis to keep track of the different job postings, until I'll find one that will suit my qualifications. I'll keep you posted then.

I've packed already...

It's already 1:30am here and I'm still awake coz I was just done packing my back for the Poland trip,:) I have to pack early coz I'll be leaving for Ate Bren's place on Friday and I don't want to pack in a hurry. At least, I only need few things and I'll be finally done with my luggage.

I'm taking with me dresses and shorts, that's why my back is not that bulky. I just hope the weather in Poland is nice, if not, then I'll be freezing there,hehehe.

Anyways, my eyes are still watering and the running nose is still on,:) But atleast the sore throat is almost gone,:) I'm really hoping that I'll be well before the trip. I have to sleep very soon.

A car trip to Poland...

I was surfing in the net a while ago and I stumbled upon Hilton Head rentals and saw great photos of the Island. And I just suddenly remember to tell you about our upcoming car trip to Poland coz I haven't share it to you here.

My dearest Ate Bren will take me and my best to their car trip to Poland this July 13-19 as birthday gifts for me and best for our bdays last year. We thought the trip wouldn't be materialized anymore coz Ate's new passport is not yet done. She lost her passport on her way to London from her Pinas vacation last January. And the embassy hadn't processed it yet and they thought that they've already done it coz they called before and said that they'll process it. But as her hubby called last week, the passport isn't done yet. And yesterday, Ate called and informed me that she just got her new passport and that the trip to Poland will go on as planned. Yohooo, I am so happy and so excited for it. It will surely be fun with Ate Bren, her hubby and their daughter, Anny and of course with best.

I hope, I'll be well before the trip coz it's difficult to travel with a running nose and a watering eyes and a sore throat,:)

The pain is gone.....

Hi everyone! I just got back yesterday from the SFL Singles Congress held in Oslo from July 4-6. It was indeed a very inspiring and empowering weekend for all the 130 delegates. The details of the congress will be posted in my Julai's Corner.

Anyways, thank you so much for all of you who left messages and for your concern about the pain that I've been feeling in my lower waist last week. I am so thankful to God because the pain is gone now, actually I didn't feel it anymore since Saturday. So maybe, it was just a minor thing. A time when a part of our body is experiencing something that isn't that nice,:)

But I am sick now,:( After the congress, we had a boat trip as a fellowship, but then the weather was bad coz it has been raining and very cold. We enjoyed the trip though, but I went home and got wet from the rain coz I forgot to bring my umbrella. So here I am, suffering from watering eyes, running nose and sore throat since yesterday,:( But it's ok coz at least I am not having a fever or some worst condition. God is always good all the time,:)

I am worried....

Hi everyone! I hope all is well with you. I am really worried because I've been feeling the pain in the right side of my waist (lower part) and I've been feeling it for almost a week now. And I always pee with a just a little amount,huhuhuh. I'm worried that there might be something wrong with my kidney or something. But I'm really confused coz I've been drinking a lot of water since then. Maybe my kidney was strained because it has to work ward in disposing all the water that I've been drinking. I'm not really sure. If the condition continues, I'm going to visit my doctor to make sure about things.

a lonely day....

I'm here in my apartment and I'm so lonely really..I'm not hearing anything from the outside world and the absence of people in the neighborhood makes it more boring,:(

I did a little bit of tidying up in my employer's place and the major cleaning will be tomorrow coz I'll be leaving for the city this Thursday. I already consumed a cup of tea a while ago and I'm going to take another one soon. I'm so bored really and there's nothing much to do. Good thing and one of my good friends who is in Pinas for vacation is online, so we are chatting right now,:)
