Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and thank you very much for visiting me here. I haven't blog in here for a long time coz I've been sooo sleepy and tired in the past 3 days. I attended a Church activity in the weekend and I felt so good about it. It was really a soul-uplifting experience. But when I came home to my apartment on Sunday night, my body was so tired and until now, I still feel sleepy and tired. And it's not only me who's feeling this way, but also my employers. They're also complaining about their tired bodies and they said that maybe it's because of the weather coz it's so gloomy since Monday. That' why I haven't blog lately coz I've been sleeping early during the night and watching shows during my free time. I'm just so lazy to blog. Good thing and I'm able to do it now,:)

A day full of walking
Yesss!I'm so glad coz today I walked a lot at it makes me feel good,:) First, I walked the eldest child to school in the morning and then after, I did the general cleaning in the house. Then, I picked up the youngest child in the kindergarten, so I walked once again to the bus stop and took the bus, and walked back to the house with the child.
Then, at 7pm I went jogging and on my way home, I dropped by at the store and bought some things for my apartment and walked all the way coz I already had a plastic bag and it's a little bit heavy. I also did more than 100 jumps with my jump rope right after my arrival. I'm just waiting for my system to relax, so I can take a half-bath before going to bed.
I really feel good after the exercise. I hope I can continue with this,:)

Done cleaning the furnitures
I'm so glad and I'm finally done cleaning the outdoor furnitures 2 days ago. Last Tuesday, I cleaned the patio furniture (wooden table and chairs) as instructed by my employer using a special soap. The furnitures are always removed from the patio after summer and stored in the storage room. And then I clean it before putting it again on the patio during spring. My male employer has already carried all the furnitures to the patio yesterday after drying them under the sun for a day. I'll try to take photos of it next time. But I'm glad I'm done with it and glad that the weather was ncie last Tuesday while cleaning the furnitures.
I also oiled the wooden railings today, so definitely, no more furniture cleaning this spring,:)

Walking, running and jumping rope
Whoahh!!I feel so good right now coz I'm just done with my exercise. Yesss, atleast! I'm able to pull myself in front of lappy and do the thing that I've been planning for weeks already. I went walking up to the lake and then running on my way back. And I also did more than 100 jumps with my jump rope after arriving here in my apartment. I sweat a lot and I really feel good and I'm preparing a cup of tea now. I just hope I can maintain this thing and hopefully be a part of my daily life already,:)
Anyways, I didn't blog for days here coz I'm having a personal problem right now and it's making me lazy. I mean, I wanna blog, but I don't have the energy coz the problem is dragging me down. Thanks for the exercise today that boosted my energy to hit the keyboard and blog a little bit.:)
I hope you are all doing fine and be healthy always.

Almost 9 hours of sleep
Ohhh my, I just can't believe it! I slept for soo long, hehehe. Yesterday, I went to my extra job and worked there for 4 hours, then I also dropped by the store to buy somethings. And then, walked back to my apartment. I arrived at around 5pm and I was soo tired. And after arranging what I bought, I went to bed to take a nap at 5pm, but then the nap turned into a longgg sleep coz I just woke up at around 1:50am here. So it's already Saturday!hehehe. But I'm so happy coz I got a long sleep, I just need it to badly to compensate for the days that I had a very short sleep.
It's still 2:25am here, so I still have time to blog and surf more,:) But I'm going back to sleep soon coz I still have to work at my other extra job tomorrow morning...awww this morning,:) Happy weekend everyone!

Yeheyyy, I'm so glad coz I was able to do my 100 jumps tonight with my jumping rope. I really forced myself to do it coz I haven't done it for about 2 days. Though I'm having back ache and muscle ache in my arms, but I really tried my best to do it and I'm really feeling better now coz I'm able to battle my laziness, hehehe.
I'm just done drinking a cup of tea and I'm watching America's Next Top Model Cycle 2 right now at YouTube. But I'm going to sleep soon coz tomorrow will be another busy day for me. Have a nice evening everyone!

No exercise and remembering bro!
Hi everyone! I'm still here in front of lappy since 10am,:( I know it's not healthy anymore and haven't done my jumping rope until now. I'm really getting hooked into blogging and surfing and watching videos, huhuhu. Anyways, I instantly rememer my dear brother as I stumbled into Essential Watches site and saw all the Hublot big bang watches. My dear brother just loves watches and been wishing to have an expensive watch since our childhood days. How I wish I love extra money right now so I can buy one for him. But for now, he has to wait coz there are still more important things to focus than watches,:)

Appendix surgery through the mouth
Woww, this is really an interesting news! The just caught my attention and pushed me to read the entire article. According to Yahoo News, American Surgeons performed an appendix operation through the mouth of the patient. No laceration at all in the stomach or belly area. The said operation is the first of its kind and it ensured the patient, who was acutely ill with appendicitis, of an invisible scar.
The patient, Mr. Scholtz, said that he recovered faster and that he was already eating pizza and doing sit-ups 3 days after the operation. And he was already discharged from hospital after 17 hours and went back to work a day later. It's indeed a very fast recovery!
According to the news, "Surgeons at the University of California San Diego Medical Centre threaded miniaturised instruments attached to long control wires down the throat of the former US marine. Once they had emptied his stomach of its contents they made a small incision in the lining to reach inside the body cavity. The inflamed appendix was cut away, bagged up, pulled back into the stomach and out of Mr Scholz's mouth".

Learn more about RFID
Maybe, just like me, it's also your first time to encounter the term RFID. I encountered about this term last night as I was surfing. I read more about it in the site where I was redirected, but the meaning and the concept didn't register unto my mind since I was already very sleepy. The words that stand for RFID didn't even register unto my mind,:(
This morning, after my female employer told me that I'm already off, I continued reading about RFID. And so I learned that RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification and that it's an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID transponders or RFID tags. RFID tag is an object attached into a product, animal, or person for identification purposes using radiowaves. Some tags can be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader and most RFID tags contain 2 parts. One is an integrated circuit for storing and processing information, modulating and demodulating a (RF) signal, and other specialized functions. The second one is an antenna for receiving and transmitting the signal.
I was also redirected to the Europe based site, Elatec, that specializes in making RFID and other related things such as electronic components, cards and services and security solutions.
If you want to know more about RFID, you can always Google the term for more results or visit Elatec, a site that specializes in RFID , electronic components, cards and services and security solutions. RFID readers are developed by Elatec as modules, OEM boards, PC cards and as complete devices in housing. All ISO standards for RFID technology are also supported by Elatec like: ISO 7816, ISO 14443, ISO 15693, ISO 18000, ISO 11784 and ISO 11785. Learn more about RFID by visiting http://www.elatecworld.com.

I haven't exercise...
Yes, it's true, I haven't exercise today,:( I'm suppose to be jumping rope for 100 counts everyday since the day I borrowed the old jump rope from the child of my employer. I was so busy in the afternoon and I thought if making it tonight, but too bad and I was so tired. In fact, I just woke up about 40 minutes ago. Yes, I fall asleep for about 2 hours and just woke up to do some pending tasks and there's no chance for me to be jumping rope tonight coz it's already 11pm here and I don't feel like doing it. What I deed instead is try the different Online Games at Online-Games-Zone that I just discovered this afternoon as I was surfing.
The site has a lot of games available and I really like it there coz I can play the games right away without the hassle of downloading them and I can play all games for free. What a great find! I'm really happy that I stumbled into it. Now, I can have another form of online entertainment aside from watching movies and TV shows, hehehe. The site has different kinds of puzzle games, fun games, classic games, Card Games, sports games, racing games and other game categories to choose from. In fact, I was just done playing Crash Down under the Puzzle games category. I only played for about 5 minutes as a mini-break from blogging and surfing,:)
I will surely share the site to my dear brother, so he'll also enjoy playing games. Racing Games category will surely be his first stop coz he just love any kind of racing, be it online or for real. He's been into motorcycle racing when he was still in Pinas and my Mama was really worried about it. At least, he can still play racing games in Denmark, but only online, hehehe.

Still wide awake!
I'm already back from my employer's place. I'm done with work at around 11pm. I washed the dishes here in my apartment, right after my arrival. I drank a cup of tea and been blogging and surfing once again.
But my problem now is how to fall asleep.:( The party upstairs is still on and they've started dancing now, so I can clearly hear the noise as their feet hit the wooden floor. My apartment is below my employer's place and I can clearly hear whatever noise upstairs. This is really too bad since I still have to wake up early tomorrow for the 9:30am Mass. I will really try my best to fall asleep. Good luck to me then!

30 minutes remaining
Yes, I only have 30 minutes left now before finally going to my employer's place to help them in serving their guests of 10 people. I am still here in blogging and surfing, trying to make use of my time with my lappy before finally working. At least, I can give my laptop a rest for today,:) and I'll be using it once again once I get back from my employer's place. But I won't be staying long tonight since I'll be attending the 9:30am Mass tomorrow, so I have to sleep early.
Talk to you later friends. I have to get ready.:)

Summer is coming
Few more months to go and it will finally be summer. The most awaited season of the year for my friends and of course, yours truly, hehehe. I just love summer and can't hardly wait for it to finally come.:) And because summer is approaching, I'm thinking of buying another pair of sunglasses to add to my collection. Hmmm actually, it's not really collection coz I only have 3 pairs, hehehe. But I love wearing shades and would love to collect more. But the 3 pairs I have are not really costly, I just can't afford to buy one at the moment. But maybe this summer, I'm going to treat myself by buying a pair of expensive sunglasses. Just once,:) With that plan, I'll start looking for vintage sunglasses in the net and also in the shops here to find a nice pair that's not so expensive, yet classy and stylish. I just hope I can find one that will suit my budget,:)

On having a nose lift...
I just wanna ask if you agree with the thought of having a nose lift or a nose job to improve your physical appearance. Is it ok with you or not? I've already heard a lot of stories about people nose lifts to improve their looks and their self-confidence. The 1st cousin of my mother in Manila even underwent the operation. She's married to a Japanese guy and she has always wanted to have a long nose since childhood, so when she got the chance and the money to afford it, she certainly go for it.
Me too, I don't have anything against nose jobs. But since I'm already satisfied with my nose (though it's not long at all), so I will not go for it. But if one day, my nose will lower my self- confidence in one way or another, then I will surely go for a nose job.:) If you are also planning to have a nose job and you're living in the US, then try researching more about nose job rhinoplasty in Brevard Florida, they're one of the bests there is in the field.

10 pounds off in 6 weeks
Yes, it's possible to lose 10 pounds in 6 six and that's what Joy Bauer wrote at Yahoo Health. Here are the 5 tips that will us achieve it, if we only follow it religiously:
1. Stick to one serving of cereal. For most people, a typical pour of breakfast cereal is equal to two servings. If you're trying to lose weight, trim calories by accurately measuring one serving into your bowl (usually that means ¾ - 1 cup, however, cereal serving sizes vary so you must regularly check the package labeling on your favorite brands and varieties). You'll save about 150 calories by cutting back on cereal and at least 50 calories in extra milk every morning. That's 8,400 calories saved and 2.5 pounds lost at the end of six weeks!
2. Skip your late night snack. We all feel the need to munch in the evening, and although a p.m. snack can be perfectly appropriate (diet-friendly p.m. snacks should not exceed 150 calories), for many people, the evening tends to be the time of day we blow it on calorie overload - comfort food central; ice cream, cookies, potato chips, popcorn and more!
On average, people gobble down way more than 250 calories after 8 p.m. Exercise some willpower and skip your nighttime snack altogether. Sip an herbal tea, floss/brush your teeth and close down the kitchen for the evening. You'll save at least 250 calories each day and after six weeks, you'll have cut 10,500 calories and dropped three whole pounds!
3. Scratch the butter/margarine. Cut out a total of one tablespoon of regular butter or margarine from your toast, veggies, potatoes, dinner rolls, etc. each day. At 100 calories per tablespoon, you'll save 4,200 calories and drop over one pound in six weeks. What if you can't give up the butter or margarine? At least switch to a soft tub spread that says "reduced fat" and "trans-fat free" on the label - it's half the calories of the full fat versions, so you'll still drop over ½ pound.
4. Lose the mayo and cheese on your sandwich. Omit the slice of cheese and mayonnaise on your sandwich (use mustard instead - only five calories per teaspoon) and you'll save about 200 calories per sandwich. If you eat a sandwich a day, you'll end up saving 8,400 calories and find yourself 2.5 pounds lighter after just six weeks.
5. Delete the extras: It's amazing how much extra food we can munch on without realizing it - a grab of this/that off our kid's plate, an extra packet of ketchup or salad dressing, a bite of your co-worker's dessert... before you know it, you've consumed an extra 800 calories!
Be super mindful and delete the "extras" and you'll be able to trim a significant amount of calories off your weekly total. Also, pay attention to your beverages (alcohol included) - as well as what's going into your coffee and tea. By trimming 1000 calories off each week (about 150 per day), you'll save a total of 6000 calories and drop 1.75 pounds at the end of six weeks!
Wowww, this article is really a reminder for me to be careful in what I eat and to really avoid extras if I'll really take losing weight a serious thing.

A new marketing strategy for rice
My mother told me days ago that the prices of good in the Philippines keep on rocketing as usual. And rice is already very expensive, it's already 40 pesos per kilo and when I was still there, it was just about 20-25 pesos per kilo. There's really a big difference.
I also read at my friend's blog about the prices increase in our country and she's also complaining about the price of rice since her father is a big time farmer, who grows rice. She was talking about a new strategy of marketing their rice. Instead of putting up a traditional store in marketing the rice, her family is planning of building an online rice store which means that consumers will purchase online and they will deliver the rice unto the customer's doorstep. Pretty nice idea, I think. She's incharge in building the online store since she's the techie in the family,:) and she's starting to work it. She will definitely need a shopping cart software in building the online store and she's taking Ashop Commerce into consideration since a lot of online sellers are using it and she also got a lot of recommendations to go for it.
I just hope that her family will succeed with their online business venture.

She had a cosmetic surgery
I am talking about my female host family in Denmark whom I really considered as a 2nd mother during my stay in their place. Even up to now, I can still feel her motherly love and care for me. She is always concern about my future and my conditions and I have so much respect for her. I am always welcome to their home and I am always excited to go there for vacation. Anyways, it's now my first cousin, Florean, who replaced me there and she's also well taken-cared off, just like me.
I had a conversation with Florean through YM weeks ago and I was shocked as she told me that our female employer had undergone a cosmetic surgery to enhance her brows. Hmmm, I was shocked coz I knew her as a simple woman who don't give much emphasis on physical appearance. Maybe someone has advised her about it. But it's ok too since she has a lot of media exposure since she's a member of the European parliament. So she really needs to look great in front of the camera,:) Anyways, I am so excited to see her and her new beauty enhancement. Can't wait,:)

Ways to suppress the appetite
Here are simple ways of suppressing our appetite to avoid overeating from Yahoo Health:
Get Enough ZZZZZ
Sleep deprivation causes an imbalance in certain hormones, including ghrelin (which increases appetite) and leptin (which decreases appetite). When we don’t get enough sleep, our levels of ghrelin go up (weight gain) and levels of leptin go down (so we are hungrier). That said, adults should aim for at least seven hours of shuteye each night.
Eat Protein and Fiber at Meals
Compared to carbohydrate and fat, protein takes more time to digest and therefore keeps you full longer. Fiber helps by absorbing water, and then expanding in your stomach – literally creating bulk to make you feel fuller and have less room for more.
Less Variety, More Satisfaction
Keep less variety of snacks foods in the house and you’ll be much better off. Research has shown the greater your options, the greater your appetite.
Don’t Be Left in the Dark
When you go out to dinner, sit in a well-lit part of the restaurant. That’s because when you’re eating in a well-lit area, you’re more likely to consume fewer calories. You are more self conscious and feel others can see what you’re eating, so you’re likely to curb your appetite accordingly. In a dim corner of the room… well, anything goes.
Play Mind Games
Serve up your food on small plates and smaller food portions will look more voluminous. Be sure to keep your snacks out of sight at home and at work (out of sight, out of mind). Also, wear great smelling perfume or cologne and light scented candles when you have the opportunity. Interesting smells can often take your mind off of food.

Big boobs
I have one question to my female blogger friends, do you want to have big boobs? I mean do prefer big boobs? Most of my friends here have big boobs and only few of us are not blessed with such. But I am really contented. Though I sometimes wish that I have big boobs, just like my friends, but I am really satisfied most of the time. And if given the chance to choose between big boobs and the normal size, I would go for the normal size, just like what I have coz I'm comfortable with them,:) Though big boobs are nice to see, but when they're overly huge, they're no longer pleasing to the eyes. At least to my eyes,:)
My best friend is also blessed with big boobs and I remember her complaining about them coz it's so painful when she runs as they keep on swaying. But in today's generation, having big boobs is the in thing and most of the women out there want to have breast enlargement or the like. Most of the commercials I saw on TV and magazines are featuring women with big boobs. And just like an article I read before, most women in Santa Monica seem to all have breast implants. Nahhh, so it's already difficult to determine whether the woman is having fake or natural breasts.
How about you? Would you consider having a breast implant?

A new exercise companion
Yes, I have a new exercise companion now and I got its company since last friday and I'm proud to tell you about my "newly-borrowed jump rope",hehehe. The one in the photo is not the real thing though. Mine is a combination of yellow, pink and blue colors and an old one.). I'm going to take a photo of it next time.
It's really "newly-borrowed" coz I just borrowed it from the eldest child of my host family. Last friday morning (while she's eating breakfast), she showed me her new and old jump rope and we also tried using both of them. I tried to ask her if I can borrow the old one coz I want to exercise to get rid of my big tummy. Good thing and she understood what I mean even if my norsk is not that good, hehehe. And she also allowed me to borrow it. I took it to Ate Bren's place and I was also jumping there,:) I have a goal of jumping rope for 100 counts each day, or even more. I already did my 100 jump today and hope to have more later tonight.
I hope that he jump rope will really help in getting rid of my "bilbil".

She's wearing glasses now
I was surprised last weekend as I saw one of my friends, Ella, coz she's already wearing glasses. She's also constantly spending her weekend at Ate Bren's place and she's also a good friend of my best. But we haven't seen each other lately coz she just recently changed host family and didn't spend some weekends with us coz she had some babysitting. Last Friday was our first meeting in 2 or 3 weeks and she's already wearing glasses. She said that her eyes had been aching lately and good thing and she found some cheap glasses in Oslo that fits her eyes.
If my eyes will keep on aching too, then I might ask her to accompany me to the store where she bought her glasses.:)

Winning the weekend challenge
I think, I won the weekend challenge, which is the "no pigging-out" challenge on weekends coz I was really able to control my appetite over the weekend. I just hope I have the right assessment,:) The "bloating" incident really helps as I kept on thinking about it every time I see food. And most of all, my determination to lose some pounds is the major reason why I was able to win the challenge. I just hope that I'll be able to beat the challenge every weekend. :)

A "teethy" talk
Can't think of a better title for this post, but I think it's appropriate since we've been talking a lot about teeth last weekend. We were at Ate Bren's place once again, but there was no drinking session or pigging-out session this time, what a relief!:) But we had the newest craze in the house : korean telenovela madness, that made us all sleepless, hehehe.
But anyways, we had a lot of "teeth" discussion in the house since most of us, aww all of us, want to visit the dentist since it's already almost a year that we've visited the dentist during our vacation in Pinas. And we are discussing on how to find out about the dentists who are offering affordable services because everything is extremely expensive here in Norway and that includes the dentist, grrrrrrrrr. If only the charges here are as affordable as Pinas, then we could have visit the dentist more often. One of my Ates found a good dentist with a lower fee (recommended by her host family), so we will try to call and as for appointment and we're going to do that before summer. How about you? Is visiting the dentist in your locality an expensive ordeal too?

Super white teeth

I just stumbled into Dental Resources site and I instantly remember one of my all-time wishes : to have super white teeth. I always envy people who have the super white teeth because mine is that of the creamy or yellowish type. I've heard stories from folks before that when you have creamy or yellowish teeth, it means strong teeth. So I just hope it's true, at least I have a good consolation, hehehe.
My teeth is not even straight. It has been crooked since childhood and the condition improves a little bit after I used the retainer after my college days. The dentist suggested braces to make my teeth really straight, but too bad coz Mother just can't afford the expensive braces. I really promised to myself that when I'll get a job and enough savings, I will really have braces to fix my teeth. I planned of having one during my vacation in Philippines, but I was only there for 2 months, so the time wasn't enough. Thanks to high technology and it's already possible to have a super white teeth and I m definitely planning to have a teeth whitening by professional to make one of my wishes into reality. Maybe not now, but I will have it for sure. I am so determined,:)

The next challenge that I have to win
As I shared to you in my earlier post, I already manage to control my eating lately and I'm so happy about it. Thanks to the "bloating" incident that triggers the self-control,:) And now, the next challenge that I have to win (health wise) is not pigging-out during weekends because I always eat a lot during weekends when I'm with my good friends and I'm not really happy about it. I've been wanting to change this bad habit of mine ever since, but I always fail,:( I don't know but I just can't control eating more during weekends, maybe because most of my friends are also eating more too. So, there's an urge to join with them, hehehe.
Tomorrow, I'm going out for the weekend to Ate Bren's place and the challenge will officially start tomorrow. I just hope that I can make it. I have to make it anyway coz it's for my own good. So I guess, I'll just think about the "bloating" incident every time I feel the urge to eat more,:)

Who don't want to live longer?
......who don't want? Even the beggars in the streets are trying their best to beg for money just to live, despite poverty. So basically, everyone wants to live longer to enjoy the beauty of life. And because of this human desire, a lot of longevity supplements are also popping up in the health market and billions are patronizing it. I am also sold out to this idea of taking longevity supplements, but before taking anything, we really have to do our research for us to get the best in the market.
As I've said, there are already a lot of longevity supplements in the market these days, we we have to be very careful in making our choice. Biotivia is listed as one of the best longevity supplements in the market these days. I visited there site and read all informations there and I was sold out that their products are really effective. If you are looking for a longevity supplements, then consider researching more about it.
How about you? Would you consider taking longevity pills? Let's share opinions about this.:)

Drinking tea religiously
That's what happening to me since Sunday night...I am drinking tea religiously to relieve the bloating feeling (I already posted about it before). And thanks God coz it really helps and it also helps me to feel fuller and thus, eating less. I'm not giving in to foods right now. I only eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and in minimal amount. Though sometimes, I ate in between, but only a little portion, not like before that I always eat voraciously,:(
And I think another reason why I'm already eating less these days is because I already have a phobia, the phobia to experience the bloating feeling once again! But I really like the effect. Maybe it happened to help me in controlling my eating habits,:)

A "girly" discussion
As I told you in my post the other day, I attend the farewell party of one my friends who will be working in Denmark already since her contract here in Norway is already finished. It was held in Ate Bren's place. We had fun with our eating, drinking and chitchatting session,:) Ate Bren's hubby was busy watching TV, so we had a "girly" discussion at the table while drinking Martini. We talked about a lot of "girly" topics such as men, sex and personal grooming,:) Hmmm, pretty common topics among girls.
Our topics were really very timely since the bf of one of our friends will be coming soon here to work. So we've been teasing her a lot about it. And since we are all shaving, the idea of getting a permanent hair removal popped up into the discussion. And everyone liked the idea since shaving is a hassle too, especially when you have a very busy schedule. We'll try to look for good offers here in Oslo and discuss if we're going to go for a permanent hair removal. We really talked about a lot of things, so our "girly" discussion lasted until 2 in the morning. That's how crazy we are when it comes to chitchatting, hehehe.
Just a while ago, I tried googling "hair removal" and I learned something about IPL Systems. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and it's a system use to treat a wide range of skin conditions such as hair removal, wrinkle reduction, vascular lesions, pigmented lesions, sun-damaged skin and acne. Another beauty innovation indeed and I'm so glad that I stumbled into it because it was really my first time to hear about the IPL system.
If you want to know more about the IPL system, visit http://www.ellipseipl.co.uk because they have a detailed article about it and it's usage.
