Give up diet soda

This is a healthy advice I just read from Yahoo Health and it's written by Lucy Danziger, the Editor-in-Chief of Self Magazine.

Though most of us prefer diet soda coz of it's low calorie or fat content. Diet Coke for example, has won the hearts of health conscious individuals all over the world. But a recent research shows that "artificial sweeteners in soda may interfere with your body’s ability to estimate how many calories you’ve ingested, so you eat more than you need". The research was also backed up by a new rat study and the result shows that
animals that ate fake sugar consumed more calories overall and gained weight, compared to those that didn’t eat artificially sweetened treats.

Here's an info given by Lucy to help us decide in giving up diet soda: For every diet soda you sip daily, your risk of becoming overweight can rise by 37 percent, according to researchers at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
